Before Patricia Demauro broke it, Stanley Fujitake had the record in the world of craps records. Still waiting for a seven to appear, Fujitake had rolled one hundred and eighteen times.
On this particular day, they went to the California Casino & Hotel to play games. He started out betting $5 on each of the three pass line bets.
In contrast, Fujitake raised his bets as his winning run persisted. He increased his bets to $1,000 after multiple wins and kept winning.
Fujitake’s rolls, according to a dealer at the California Casino, were drawing customers. His wonderful fortune helped many other gamblers.
Governor John Repetti of California claims that Fujitake left the casino with a $30,000 payoff in his pocket. Thirty to forty bettors on Fujitake’s rolls were paid out a total of $750,000 by the casino.
